The pre-order time is a fascinating and informative period. An author can follow initial sales closely. One week before launch, Arctic Dinosaurs of Alaska is in a feather-lengthening stage to fledge off the shelves everywhere August 20. I was delighted to learn that there have been 35 pre-orders from France, Poland, Germany, Canada, along with USA a week before launch. The USA leads the pack at 15 pre-sales with France next at 14. The distribution of edition types is also piquing my curiosity among the pre-order data: there are 14 hardcover, 14 paperbacks, and 7 library editions ordered. Every part of the writing process is delightful to me. This one brought serendipity today.
